Installing SiteAudit Control Panel
Prior to installing the SiteAudit Control Panel, ensure the machine meets the required Platform Requirements
Downloading the Control Panel Installer
The first time the SiteAudit Control Panel is installed, the installer application must be downloaded using the Control Panel link provided by the SiteAudit administrator. The link navigates the user to the Control Panel download page. Do not run the application from within the browser. Save the file to your computer and follow the instructions below to install the application.
Use the link provided by the SiteAudit Administrator to download the installer to your computer.
Extracting the Installer
The Control Panel download is a .zip file. This file must be extracted to a folder before starting the file. The instructions below describe how to extract and run the installer software.
Extract Installer from Download ZIP
The Control Panel download is a compressed ZIP file. This file must be extracted before installing the software.
Navigate to the folder where the installer application was saved.
Right-click the SiteAuditControlPanelInstaller.zip file and select Extract All... from the menu options.
Click the Browse... button and select the folder where the installer files are extracted.
Click Extract to the extract the file content to the specified folder.
Open the SiteAuditControlPanelInstaller folder and double-click the ControlPanel64_EN MSI file to begin the installation.
Complete the installation following the steps provided in the Control Panel installer.
The Control Panel opens automatically after the installation completes.
Control Panel Sign-in
The user AD credentials must be entered whenever the Control Panel application is started. These credentials are typically the same Office365 credentials used to access resources in your environment.
