7.9 Features & Enhancements

SiteAudit version 7.9 introduces essential security enhancements. In addition, new Inventory fields have been added to the Inventory view to provide additional information related to secure printer communication protocols.

SNMPv3 Profile: The SNMPv3 profile used for the discovery of print devices has been added to the SNMP Community column in the Inventory view. This feature provides valuable insights into the SNMPv3 configuration for improved device management. If SNMPv1 or SNMPV2c is used, this column displays the SNMP community name.

TLS Version: This new column shows the version of TLS (Transport Layer Security) used for communication between the DCA (Device Communication Agent) and print devices. 

These enhancements contribute to a more comprehensive and secure experience within our products.

Canon counter updates for the following models:

  • GX6000
  • LBP325
  • MF750

Upgrading SiteAudit OnSite

To access the most up-to-date version of SiteAudit OnSite, kindly visit the official Netaphor website and download the software. Before proceeding with the software upgrade, we strongly recommend reviewing the platform and software requirements to ensure compatibility with your system. This essential precautionary step will help guarantee a smooth and trouble-free upgrade experience, minimizing the risk of compatibility issues. Important Notes for Upgrading

Prior to upgrading any SiteAudit client, including the Viewer or Analyzer, it is imperative to ensure that the SiteAudit database is upgraded to the corresponding version.

If you are upgrading SiteAudit from a version that is older than 7.0, please follow these steps:

  • Begin by upgrading the database to version 7.0.3.0. You can obtain this version here.
  • Once the initial database upgrade to version 7.0.3.0 is successfully completed, you can proceed with the upgrade to the latest version, 7.9, available for download on the official NETAPHOR website.

By following this sequence, you will ensure a smooth and reliable upgrade process for both your SiteAudit database and client components.
