Limiting the Amount of RAM used by SQL Server

This article contains a video that shows how to limit the amount of RAM used by the SQL server.

This is important when Netaphor SiteAuditâ„¢  is running on the same machine as the SQL server. That's because the SQL server will use as much RAM as available and does not release this memory unless needed by another application. The SiteAudit Monitor service requires a minimum of 4GB of RAM to function properly. So when the SQL server and the Netaphor SiteAudit Monitor service run on the same machine, it is best to limit SQL memory consumption.
